House Sold now the adventure begins

Sold House - Time to Celebrate
Andrew and Christie's Adventure begins -
We started out by selling our home of 380 square meters on half an acre block on March 15th 2012 for an adventure of a life time.  The adventure of a gypsy lifestyle by boat, air, car and foot.

An adventure like we never expected it would be started from day one.

Our house
We packed the house up and sold the majority of our belongings on eBay, only to find out one afternoon after coming home from work with only one week left in the house that we had been broken into.  Christie walking into the bedroom to find the safe had been smashed and all our eBay furniture money and sentimental, expensive jewellery stolen, we walk around the part empty house to find that our packed bags that we had in the garage ready to be taken to the boat had also been taken.   Disaster one.

"The Dodge Trailer"
So now we have the items we didn’t sell  because why sell the fun stuff - including a 14 foot catamaran, a tradesman trailer, so laden with tools that it looks like we are about to rob a bank, two dirt bikes, a trailer, a tinny on a trailer.  What to do with them.  With thanks to Joel and Kerry who really have done us such a favour by letting us scatter their garden with our junk (good quality junk of course) until, we can find alternative arrangements.  So in Morayfield we have these items.  In a 2.5m x 2.5m storage unit we have the rest of our life.  How Andrew managed going from a 6m x 6m shed and garage at the house full of his beloved tools and room to tinker and Christie going from a walk in robe, house full of photos, nick knacks and a large kitchen to cook and bake in.  What were we getting ourselves into?  How do we decide what we will need in our new 9m house on water?  Yes we have moved to a 30 foot fly bridge cruiser.

Our friends and family have all commented on how will you guys survive together in such small living quarters. Well I guess we will find out, and show you all how it is done, for the better.
